The Alpha Medical Shoulder & Arm Immobilizer utilizes industry standard designs with patient focused improvements. Our shoulder strap is entirely made of padded laminated foam so there is no pad to slip down or constantly readjust. Our grip is a long cylinder that is more natural to grip than the ball offered by most other slings. The sling has no seam under the forearm for improved comfort. All the materials in the Alpha Medical Shoulder and Arm Immobilizer are hook receptive allowing all the straps and attachments to close anywhere on the sling and straps for a completely customizable fit. INTENDED USE: Post-operative rotator cuff repairs, Postoperative Bankart procedures, Glenohumeral, dislocation/subluxation, Soft tissue strains/repairs, Capsular shifts, Anterior repairsApplication instructions -Remove abduction pillow from the sling by peeling the pressure sensitive attachment. -Place affected arm inside sling with the elbow as far back in the sling as possible. -Buckle the shoulder strap and adjust the strap so that the elbow it at a 90-degree angle -Position and attach the abduction pillow to the sling -Fasten the hip/waist strap and adjust for a secure, comfortable fit.
